Kids, Youth and Youth Fusion
Our kids and youth groups meet for Sunday School at 9:15 every Sunday morning and children’s message is offered for younger kids during 10:30 service after reading of the Gospel. At Gloria Dei, we are blessed to have parents and other church members volunteer their time to teach our young ones about the love of Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit and God the Father.
Want To Get Involved?
If you would like to be a parent/adult volunteer to help with any of our youth programs or have a child who would like to get involved, feel free to contact the church office at (816) 741-3150 or reach out to Michelle Boe below for more information on our youth fusion program.
Our Youth Groups
We have three separate youth groups that are active in our church:
What Do We Do?
What makes our kids, youth and youth fusion groups so unique is that they are highly involved in our church (as acolytes, greeters and/or readers) and in our community. Our youth fusion group in particular raises money for various causes throughout the year, including disaster relief when hurricanes crash against our coastlines and when those who are homeless need basic supplies like toothbrushes, socks and underwear. The youth fusion group meets on the first and third Sundays of every month from 5:30 to 8pm where they discuss outreach opportunities and grow in faith with Scripture and the Word of God.
“Children are a heritage from the LORD, offspring a reward from him. Like arrows in the hands of a warrior are children born in one’s youth. Blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them. They will not be put to shame when they contend with their opponents in court.”
