Community Garden

Community Garden
Gloria Dei Lutheran Church provides plots within the neighborhood in a Community Garden that is available to anyone in the Northland who is interested in growing food for themselves, share with others and donate to local food distribution campaigns. Whether you love to garden or just want to give it a try, we encourage you to apply for a garden plot. You will gain new friends while experiencing the joy of gardening!

Plots sizes are approximately 20 ft X 25 ft.   Seasonal costs to rent the plot are $35 due at the annual Spring Gardeners meeting.  Gardeners are also expected to follow established rules of the garden so that everyone has an enjoyable growing season.  If you are interested in a garden plot, complete the guest book sign located below or contact one of our Garden Coordinators:  Kelley Grau 816-916-5907 or Ric Smith 816-344-9973.  Like us on Facebook at Gloria Dei Community Garden.

The Gloria Dei Lutheran Church Community Garden is located in the northland minutes south of the Zona Rosa shopping center just two blocks east of I-29 on 72nd street.
